That said...
It's a long time since I have read a book that ended in a sensible, "you did the right thing", "way to go folks", way! This was definitely one of those books!
After losing everything, scraping and scratching, and relying on the generosity of others...the Lamont-Joneses made the right decision to stay-put and be happy!
Solid 5 stars...Carole Matthews gold!
