I will admit to not liking Harry Potter much when I first became aware of it's existence 10 years ago...since then I have read all of the books, listened to them on audio, and am now watching the movies...
I prefer the books...I like all of the details and side stories that weren't in the movies.
I am hopeful, that some time in the future, when our children are in charge, they will remake them as a TV mini-series and be able to stay true to the books. Each one will be 6 or 7 hours long (probably some more than 12)...but it would be worth it to do justice to JK Rowling's books :c)
